Anyone giving you shit for posting pictures is ridiculous. You're not claiming you created the artwork or even implying it. You're just posting art you like and crediting for all the images (that I've seen) tell these dweebs to fuck off.
What bothered me was the assumption I stole it and just reposted it from a creators blog. I even looked (and now follow) Noto's blog and looking through his archive (which is actually miniscule for months) there are a number of images of his I posted that aren't on his blog.
I've gotten this before, people seem to think the only places to find a creators artwork is on their site. Not true. Not when there are so many galleries out there.
I wanna see if Joey Southside is taking commissions right now because I want to get his art tattooed on me but i'm too tired/tipsy to figure out how to do so, so I have decided to tag his tumblr in this in hopes that he sees it.
Note to self: actually email him tomorrow about it.
