This is an album (MAP OF THE SOUL: 7) content poster. It is a BTS’s latest album. The poster showed you when will all the videos, shows, songs and pictures will be released before the album will be officially out. I thought the poster is really creative but yet so it looks so simple and clean. Then, i realized that this poster have all the 6 elements of design!

Firstly, there’s lines. There are four white lines that separate the event title from other texts.

Secondly, shapes that are used to brighten up the poster. In this poster, there’s a 7 number shape to complement the album’s name (MAP OF THE SOUL: 7).

Thirdly, the sizes. Each texts are of various sizes to catch the attention of readers such as main title, title and body copy.

Then, there’s colors. The major colors in this poster are blue, yellow and white. They go with the colors that will match the album’s cover colors.

Next, the value is the contrast attribute of the poster which is the big 7. Without value, readers won’t stop and stare.

Lastly, the texture. The background has like a map paper texture because it goes with the theme of the album. Keyword, MAP.
