"I subbed Johnsonville Italian Hot Sausage for the ground beef. I like the sausage much better than the beef. Spicier and more flavor. The sausage definitely takes these nachos "over the top" to 5 stars or higher!" -Paula

"So simple to make, but, packs a flavor punch! I made exactly as the recipe stated, but, substituted ground Johnsonville Italian Sausage for the bacon. The sausage worked perfectly with the cream cheese and jalapenos and really kicked these tasty jalapeno cups up a notch. " -happyschmoopies

I read all the reviews, and there were comments about being bland and dry. I substituted Johnsonville® Italian Hot Ground Sausage for the ground beef which really elevated the flavor and brought some life to this recipe (it was not bland).And WOW, this is a fast dinner for a weeknight meal with a single skillet to clean up.
