Okay so, I didn't know this before because I was a dumb little pokenoob, but protean is actually really essential for Greninja and I was stupid and didn't breed for it when I hatched my shiny. I am trying again but if anyone has a shiny froakie with protean up for trade, I have lots of really nice shinys that I would trade for it, just message me!
On a related note, if anyone wants a 6IV froakie, I have two. Unfortunately, they both have torrent, but I am still breeding and might hatch one with protean! Message me if you are interested! Not trading them just giving them away to loving homes! (｡◕‿◕｡)
Update:
So the other day a random passerby-er in Pokemon X wanted to trade with me, so I accepted. Immediately he put up a shiny Ditto named "Sixu". I was hoping it was foreign and possibly having six perfect IVs. I was feeling gutsy so I put my Reshiram up for trade, and we both agreed to it.
Received the Ditto, and sure enough it was of Japanese decent and all six IVs happened to be perfect! I'm beyond stoked. Time to pop out some perfect shiny Pokemon now. (Y) After I find some spare time from schoolwork, of course.
