She has been feeding him for a while now. He came “home” with a horrible wound to his ear this week. The wonderful @jill.thorsen.39 with Purrfect Match has agreed to take “Oreo” into her rescue. We posted about this girl's sister, Kamaria, yesterday. Kamaria was pulled yesterday. Now her Kasinda needs our help! This scared girl was surrendered to the shelter yesterday, and she will be having kittens any day now. As we all know, the shelter is no place for a mom to have to bring babies into the world – in a small, metal cage, and with any number of shelter contagions in the air that could be harmful to mom and her vulnerable kittens. We have a Paws & Claws foster mom preparing a comfortable space for Kasinda, but taking on a pregnant cat with an unknown number of kittens is expensive and we need your help!! We are the “middle-man” – taking Tipton Shelter kitties in and keeping them safe and loved while they get healthy, vetted and then they go to one of our partner rescue groups for adoption. We don’t receive any adoption fees, so we rely on your generosity to save lives! @Regrann from @6.mississippi.kitties - Please keep our wonderful friend @lovesuehooley's foster kitten in your thoughts and prayers. The beautiful momma cat pictured, Val, delivered five kittens yesterday. One of the kitten's had the umbilical cord wrapped around his foot. It will have to be amputated but we're praying the surgery can be put off until he's older. We've been told there's a 50/50 chance he'd survive surgery. Sadly, his foot is already showing signs of infection and delaying surgery may not be possible. He has began a round of antibiotics and is being watched closely. We really want to give this baby a chance to live.
