In this lesson, we will learn about the perimeter, area, and volume of certain geometric objects.

The objects we will investigate are the rectangle, square, triangle, circle, rectangular prism, cube, and sphere.

The objects that have perimeter and area only are two dimensional objects, which are the rectangle, square, triangle, and circle.

It is important to note that the perimeter of a circle is referred to as the “circumference” or the distance around the circle.

The objects that contain both area and volume are the rectangular prism, cube, and sphere.

We will learn how to calculate the perimeter, (circumference for the circle), area, and volume of these objects in the video.
