With his distinctive vocals, dampened heartfelt organ and emotionally intimate shows, it clearly was not going to be long before fans of Owen Ashworth (formerly of Casiotone For The Painfully Alone) demanded to know what the man had next in store.
A charming gent, Ashworth is humbled by the support and interest he receives from his listeners. He is now ready to unleash his new project upon the world: Advance Base. As a precursor to any LP pressing, Ashworth is releasing two new tracks on a split 7”/download with Vermont friends Hello Shark. Have a listen to new number Whirlaway the Horse below:

Ashworth’s second offering on the split, the instrumental Spanish Flangdang, is an old parlour tune that he learnt from an Elizabeth Cotten album.
