Henceforthwith, Kemptation Mixtapes is coming to you, yet again, on a Tuesday. Terrible, really. However, if you've ever picked up The Winter Of Our Discontent, you'll understand.

DAVID LYNCH PRIMES HIS NEW SOLO ALBUM:

Never one to shy away from musical experimentation, David Lynch is set to unleash his first full solo album Crazy Clown Time. After creating the David Lynch Music Company four years ago and changing his website (www.davidlynch.com) into a portfolio of his musical endeavours, Lynch is now poised to drop his mischievous Clowns on us.

Crazy Clown Time is set for release on the 8th November via Sunday Best Recordings (UK) and PIAS (US).

SHOW: Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard - Lexington, London

It seems pretty relevant to point this one out for anyone out there who likes fun times, good music and who can get themselves to The Lexington, London on Tuesday 2nd August 2011. £11/£10 will be a small price to pay to see the man even the NME considers "The Big Apple's best kept secret".

Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard will be joined by twinkling Scottish multi-instrumentalist Esperi, who also happens to be showcasing his new self-titled EP at the show.

Lewis and his Junkyard are sure to entertain with their wildly meddled display of acoustic jams, folk-inspired narratives and dirty garage rock. Expect some dazzling artwork from Lewis too, of the same standard as his educational multi-part History of Communism or equally brilliant The Creeping Brain.
