7:32 am
Sam wakes up and yawns sleepily. He snuggles closer to Dean and suddenly remembers.
His eyes fly open and he sits up quickly.
John’s bed is empty and Sam hangs his head, letting out a soft sob.
Dean, keenly aware of his brother even in sleep, wakes to the sound of his cry.
“Sammy?”
“Dad...”
Dean sighs heavily and shakes his head. He’s not sure what to do yet, but knows he has to figure it out soon. Checkout is at noon. He needs time to think.
So he drags a reluctant Sam to the shower.
He peppers him with kisses and Sam soon opens up to him.
They end up with their hands and mouths all over each other.
All over.
Sam moans under his brother’s touch.
So does Dean.
And when they both come out of the bathroom with towels around their waists, the last thing they expect to see is their father.
And yet.
There he sits in the chair by the window, feet up on the bed.
“Boys.” He raises the beer he’s drinking and takes a deep swallow.
He’s not smiling.
This seems like a good place. 7:32
