I can't sleep so I'm thinking about klaroline and I think I just realized that Klaus was the only one that acknowledged Caroline's mom's absence during the whole pregnancy and birth. We see Caroline go to her grave and say how she wishes she was there and KLAUS is the only one to say something. She only mentions to Stefan in passing that she went to her mom's grave but it is not about her it's about HIM and making him feel better. And well, Alaric calls one of the daughters Elizabeth. But I don't think anyone said anything about it. Klaus was THE ONLY ONE THAT ACKNOWLEDGED HER ABSENCE. That's crazy. Someone who had just found out about everything and who hadn't seen her in TWO YEARS. He was also the only one to tell her it was ok to want to keep the babies. It was ok to love them. THE ONLY ONE.
