個体にとって老いや死は悲劇だが、種にとっては必ずしもそうではない。利己的な遺伝子にとっては、遺伝子の乗り物にすぎない個体の生死はさほど重要ではない。中継地点まで乗り継げればそれでよい

And just like that...
I lost it. And I snapped.
Hello from the hills! We are on a trip through the south-western state of Kerala. We took a train (unreserved second class, since that is all that was left) for the 11 hour ride to Kochi/Cochin yesterday. During the whole trip there were vendors hawking "chai, chai, chai-tea..... water, water, water bottle", along with coffee, dosas, newspapers, pongal, biscuits, Lays, tomato soup, cold drinks, toys, key chains, vadas with chutney, biriyani, cashews, pakoras, fried chilies, pens, books, pants and badam (almond) milk. The food smelled great, but we (being careful about what we eat), stuck to the pb&j sandwiches that we had brought. Later on, the man sitting across from us asked us what Americans eat, and we said... Sandwiches. He then proceeded to ask if that was *all* we ate. We clarified that we Americans also ate pasta. The first picture shows very large pants that did not come with a drawstring that, somehow, she intends to wear. - Y Today we continued our trip with a five hour bus ride up to Munnar in the mountains. It's cold. And wet. Munnar is well known for its tea plantations (3rd pic).
happy birtDAAAAAAAAYY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUU
