My Little Family

Story time, sit down. This summer has been full of amazing moments for me. I made one year with my soul mate. My SOUL MATE. There are few people in the world who are privileged enough to find the love of their lives this early on in life. But I know he's the one. He knows everything about me, and was willing to go to great lengths to understand the parts of me that even I didn't understand. He's just so lovely and I wouldn't trade him for anyone. On July 16th, we welcomed our sweet baby boy into the world. It's been a bumpy ride these past two weeks, but becoming a mommy made me realize something-- You only want the best for your child. Becoming a mommy made me realize petty high school shit doesn't mean anything anymore. I learned how to prioritize better. I learned to pick and choose my battles. I realized that I'm not perfect. I realized my boyfriend isn't perfect. And you know what? That's okay. If I'm enough for my son, then I must be doing something right.

A part of me will always be in love with you, no matter how many times you disappoint me. I hope we end up together eventually, it felt like home with you. I miss you.
