❛ none of it is your fault. ❜ // Echo from Neil
JESSICA JONES SENTENCE STARTERS
for you, @747paradox, by echo.
“how can you say that if you weren’t there?”
echo’s on the brink of flying into a fit of rage, frustration evident in his voice and demeanor. he keeps thinking back to her, his dongsaeng who haunts his memories every so often. he doesn’t know what happened to her, doesn’t know if he ever will, but he can’t stop thinking about what became of her after that day.
he crouches in the dark alleyway, police sirens blaring somewhere in the distance after he’d gone rouge from one of his chases. he knows they wouldn’t come for him in such an elite and over-the-top manner; they’d be more subtle, way more subtle. he had time, but his tracker was somewhere lodged in the back of his neck, and he’d give anything to rip it out right about now.
“i couldn’t save her, couldn’t do jack shit, and i still can’t. i’m useless like this, and the guide they gave me can’t guide me for shit,” he gripes, feeling a zone coming somewhere in the distance before running a hand through his hair haphazardly and standing up. “might not be my fault but i could have saved her.” he grits his teeth together, “just needed more time.”
