75th Anniversary of Dday...where will the International commemoration take place? Some clues! A. Groundwork is going on at Omaha Beach near the US military cemetery, this could confirm in the forthcoming weeks/months that the International ceremony will be held at “Bloody Omaha”. The American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) seems like they are preparing themselves for the visit of the US President and accordingly arranges the surroundings of the American military cemetery. A.1 First time that Wreaths Across America will be abroad to lay wreaths at each headstones of the Normandy American cemetery... B. 2,400 American soldiers are expected to be there next June during the 75th anniversary to secure the area... C. A helicopter landing area,where up to 27 helicopters could land, has been created...hopefully we won’t have the same issue at Belleau Woods!
