So also on Tuesday we went to the 76 house where Major John Andre was held, pending execution. The middle two pictures are of a list of those who had been to the taverns bar where I was standing. The last one is one my mom took of me marveling at how I was standing where all of them had stood. Major John Andre was held prisoner here awaiting his trial for conspiring with Benedict Arnold. The roof was caving in, and the building had been closed to visitors for many years.
