ELECTRIFIED JAZZ-BO by do_it_in_foam Via Flickr: Completed conversion in December, 2009. Kent Armstrong mini-humbucker pickup, thumbwheel volume and tone pots, 1/8" mini jack with special cable. Everything mounted invisibly to back side of pickguard. The pickup is 100% floating, and no holes were drilled in the guitar's top. There are two holes drilled in the side for the gold-plated pickguard support bracket. The front of the guard is supported with a stainless steel pin which slips into a socket which was built into the neck extension when the guitar was constructed.
