NO ONE at the base really works with set hours & shedules. hard to have normalcy with an international, twenty-four hour call-time, but they try to make do. enforce structure wherever they can, disregard it with ease when it is necessary. no one quite prescribes to this subjective order more than reyes does.
( * the discovery of the internal spreadsheet trying to wrap its head around his waking & sleeping hours was an amusing one. he keeps his knowledge of it a secret. they seem to be having fun with it it’s good that they are. )
❛ surprised i didn’t have to drag you out of bed morrison, ❜ reyes greets as soon as the door opens with a soft hiss. he doesn’t look up. ❛ meeting’s not until 0700. coffee’s still hot, if you want it. ❜
he takes a sip of his own cup of tea. over-brewed & absolutely bitter. just the way he likes it.
