It had been 4 o'clock when Mafioso came home, quite early for a man of his occupation actually, usually he came home after midnight or 'just in time' for dinner
He shed his coat and hung it on the coat rack behind the door, cigar hanging from his lips as he took off his fedora too, he expected to be greeted by you like usual but all he got was maids and the estate's other staff greeting him
"Where are they? My thpouthe." He asked a passing maid, his British-Italian accent and lisp thicker with confusion, the maid replied with a polite "upstairs in the master bedroom, Signor Sonnellino," before bowing and walking past to tend to the laundry
He frowned slightly, what could be so important in their shared bedroom that you, his spouse, couldn't even greet him properly once he came home from a long day of work?
He took a puff of his cigar, a cloud of indigo colored smoke swirling around him as he exhaled before he begrudgingly went upstairs to greet you instead, maybe to playfully lecture you, but mostly to find a way to wriggle into your arms like a small adorable pet despite being a huge terrifying mob boss
But the sight that greeted him once he opened the bedroom door was not what he expected, you were sitting on your king sized bed, hair pinned back, makeup brush midway to your eyelid, your phone playing a makeup tutorial, and makeup scattered all over the bed

You were all dolled up, but not in the way he was used to, the bright red lips used by socialites and showgirls were replaced with light peach, the natural makeup look replaced by a flashy one, and you were all glammed up looking like you were going somewhere he definitely wasn't allowed in
He was used to charcoal or pinstriped suits, red and white showgirl outfits, beige or silver gowns of socialites, but never what you were wearing on your face now

ive been so into the mafia guys recently this was sent at such a perfect time auuuuu
A(nniversary) - How do they celebrate anniversaries with their partner?
He tries to keep low, most anniversaries are spent at fancy restaurants or staying insde, he doesnt like to be seen out in public for a number of reasons. if you two did stay in though he would let you spend quite a while picking out things you want and making his boys pick them up for you (clothes, jewlery etc) fully at the expense of his wallet.
B(athroom) - Is their shared bathroom messy or organized? Do they enjoy showering/bathing with their partner?
he keeps it extremely organized, he has a specific way of doing things that he tries to keep that way, the draws and cabinets organized with bins and divider, towels folded neatly on a shelf besides the shower. he dislikes messes.
he would be willing to shower/bathe with you but mostly after a long day, he sometimes has to rush through them because he might be busy but once hes done he'll wind down and join you, even if its not cleaning yourselves off and just enjoying the intamacy he makes sure to make time for it.
C(elebration) - What holidays do they and their partner celebrate? What are birthdays like? Do they like hosting parties and meals?
hes not to keen on holidays, or more so just the lesser ones in his eyes. the ones he really does bother with though are easter and Christmas. its mostly because growing up in italy his family made a large deal out of it so he also does still. for atleast one day he'll put all missions on hold to get to spend time with his boys and you.
D(inner) - Do they eat dinner with their partner every night? Do they do most of the cooking, or at least help with it? Do they like to talk about their day or enjoy a comfortable silence?
he tries his best to attend dinner but commonly cant or ends up eating in his office, sometimes even skipping it as a whole. when he does manage to make it he'll sometimes talk about his upcoming contracts coming to a end with people and how much he expects to be around the next few days.
he barley cooks dinner, its not that he isnt able to cook its just he doesnt bother or doesnt have enough time too, even if you asked he would say no.
E(ntrance) - How do they greet their partner when they arrive home?
him being near the door when you come in is pretty uncommon, you'll probable have to hunt him down in the mansion or find him in his office. he'll always invite you to sit with him for a moment and talk and say basic hello's, maybe sharing a few kisses before parting ways.
F(amily) - Do they want to start a family with their partner? Any pets or children? How do they get along with their partner's relatives?
he probably wouldnt get along with your family unless you come from a similar background, but even then rival mafias do exist. he'd most likely just be his cold self to them unless they prove he doesnt have to be.
hes not against having children but he already has 4 of his own so its quite a bit to have more.

G(roceries) - Do they like to go shopping with their partner? Are they trying to sneak treats into the cart when no one is looking?
no, not at all. he doesnt make random appearances in public so he would most likely ask you or one of his boys to do it, he'll help carry in the bags from the car but he wont go out to the store. although he will let you get full choice of what is bought. drinks, snacks etc.
H(ouse) - How quick do they ask to live together? Where do they and their partner move in together? Do they get a new place entirely, or does one just start living with the other?
it would be pretty quickly, mostly just because he would want you closer to him sooner or atleast once he knows for sure. he'd only be willing for you to move in to his mansion. he'd mostly do it out of protection of you, worried that if anyone where to find out your relationship they may go after you to get back at him.
I(ndoors) - What's their favorite way to spend a lazy/rainy day in with their partner?
on the rare occasion that he has a day or a large amount of time off he always will spend it with you, mostly watching movies and being as close to eachother as possible. he tries to take naps ever chance he gets so it will probably end up with you trapped in his hold while he falls asleep either under or ontop of you
J(obs) - Do they work with their partner? If not, do they ever visit their place of work?
NO. he would not let you ever go out on any kind of mission or meeting with him out of concern. he wants to keep you as far out of it as possible, so much that he locks his office when he leaves so you dont go in there and snoop around.
K(eepsake) - Have they decorated with/displayed any mementos from their relationship?
around the house there is photos of you two, mostly in common rooms like your bedroom, living room and even a photo of you on his office desk. he would carry one around with him but he doesn't want to risk someone harming/killing him and finding the photo and coming after you next.
L(aundry) - Do they help with their partner's laundry, or do they only focus on their own clothes? Do they share a closet or dresser with their partner?
he would but not too much, like he would put a load of clothes in the washer and switch it over but he'd most likely ask you to fold and put them away for time management on his part.
he would give you your own closet and dresser before you can even ask for one.
M(ornings) - What's it like waking up with them? Are they a morning person, or does their partner have to drag them out of bed?
he gets up early, most of the time before you unless your a VERY early riser. he might lay there with you for a moment but he'll eventually get up to get ready. he always make sure to give you a light peck before he truly leaves and whispers "i love you".
N(ights) - What's their nightly routine with their partner? Do they go to bed earlier, later, or at the same time? How do they sneak into bed when they've come home late?
if hes home intime to be able to go to bed with you he always takes a quick shower before getting into bed so its not often that you two DONT take one together.
Its pretty normal for him to come home late so when he does he will often wash himself up then lay beside you, often pulling you closer to him or lightly embracing you.
O(rbit) - Are they constantly at their partner's side, or do they keep to themself more?
he keeps to himself more often but that doesnt mean there isnt times where his clinging to you, those days often come after long work nights and when he hasnt been able to see you much. sometimes its just laying together or having you sit with him/ on his lap while hes doing his work in his office.
P(resent) - Do they often bring home gifts for their partner? What do they usually buy?
its often that he does, mostly jewelry or flowers as its a pretty common thing to gift your spouse.
Q(uarrel) - Do they get into fights with their partner often? Do they let it escalate or try to calm it down?
fights are pretty frequent and definitely can escalate. for him being someone at such a high rank of power being "defied" is taken pretty seriously. he doesnt get physical but he might try to scare you, it often ends in his goons separating the two of you out of fear of it being taken out on them or him harming you.
R(esponsibility) - Do they take on very many chores? Do they complain about it? How helpful are they when it comes to housework?
not really, chores are mostly left to you to do but since him and his goons aren't home much there isnt alot to do, the only big ones being laundry and sometimes the dishes.
S(ickness) - How do they take care of their partner when they're ill? How do they like to be taken care of when the roles are reversed?
if your sick he'll try his best to get as much time as he can to be with you. he'll get you whatever medicine you need or food and make sure your not in any pain.
when he's sick he will probably act as though hes ok and have to be forced to take it easier. unless he has something like pneumonia nothing is stopping him from trying to do his daily things. he does enjoy the babying from you though once he finally is convinced to lay down.
T(elevison) - Do they watch TV with their partner regularly? What do they watch? (Morning news? Sitcoms? Dramas?) Do they ever fight over the remote?
its not often but sometimes later at night or in bed he'll watch tv with you, surprisingly he really does love mafia shows, mostly just because he finds it funny how inaccurate they can be, sometimes even using them as things to avoid since if media knows about them cops/authority may expect them to happen/
U(nwind) - What's their favorite way to be comforted when coming home from a stressful day? How would they comfort their stressed partner?
he LOVES massages after a long day, he'll lay down, discard his shirt and let you work out all of his tight spots in his muscle. although it takes alot of work hes always so nice to you during and after its really worth it.
if your stressed, he'll often let you be as close as possible to him, vent it all out while he massages your cheeks with his thumb or rubs your back. he loves when your clingy to him and always hugging him when you're tired.
V(acation) - How often do they take trips with their partner? What is their ideal vacation?
it's not often but sometimes he visits family back in Italy so it's the most common spot. he always makes sure to take you to a few nice restaurants and show you the places he grew up around, it's his favorite place to go no matter how many times he goes.
W(edding) - Are they and their partner married? Do they elope or have a more traditional wedding, if any?
he would 100% get married. he'd want a traditional wedding, but it would have to be in Italy, he wouldn't want it anywhere near where the two of you live now where it can be "interrupted".

he always misses you while he's out. if he had the choice he would be pressed up against you on the couch or in bed at that very moment, but his job is too demanding. once he finally gets to see you again, he's always so happy about it, covering your face in kisses and begging for you to return the favor.

his life is never truly "domestic" i mean with his job he always has new things going on so really it never gets boring. he loves that he got the choice to settle down to a point with you though and knowing there's someone waiting for him at home.
