As we finish up the launch, we want to let you all know that we're trying something new this games! Because realistically every Games will vary in length, each OOC week this games will equal two IC days instead of the usual one IC day. The games will last the same amount of time ooc, so people without tributes or who's tributes die early on shouldn't get too bored.

If your tribute is drawn to die, you can play out their death any time during the week, as usual, and may choose what events they react to before their death. Some of the IC days will not have any tribute deaths. Each Saturday, we will outline the events of the two days that will take place that week, so any tributes who are writing their deaths may fit their plots in around them.

This is something we wanted to try out, and if it doesn’t work, we’ll make amends for next season.

Hi players!

We are excited to bring you the arena tomorrow at noon! In preparation of the launch we wanted to let you know what to expect in terms of which tributes could be dying each day in the Arena.  

Draw 1: 9 NPCs die in bloodbath ; 15 move to day 2 Draw 2: 1 inactive, 3 plotted deaths ;  11 to day 3 Draw 3: 2 plotted deaths, 2 try for victors ;  7 to day 4 Draw 4: 1 plotted death, 3 try for victors die ; 3 to finale Draw 5: Final Battle

A little reminder: After the 78th Games, we will not be transferring any funds forward from tributes to the next Games. We are implementing this as we’ve made in a previous announcement here because of member feedback on our end-of-Games survey. 

A second little reminder: Those that are plotted deaths still can use their funds to advance to the next draw - we still draw for those deaths unless you have stated when you want your tribute death to occur.**

We hope this gives you enough information to help you use your funds the way you want! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to dm us or send in an ask.

**The reason we want to extend the amount of time in the arena given to tributes with plotted deaths is to give these people as much time as possible to advance their storylines. If muns don’t want to bring their character over into a mentor position, they shouldn’t be punished by being relegated to an early arena death. This was another result of our end-of-Games survey.

78TH SEASON BEGINS //

The 78th Annual Hunger Games are now underway! After the Reaping, your characters are making their way to the Capitol via the train if they are not already there. Tributes are arriving to the Remake Centre to begin their preparations for the Tribute Parade, stylists are hurrying to prepare their tributes, and mentors, trainers and escorts are settling into their suites and preparing their tributes for their first big event.

The following are examples of interactions your characters may have for this early portion of the Games. Feel free to use your creativity as long as your characters do not yet enter the training centre.

Interact with other characters from your District on the train ride to the Capitol.

Interact with other characters while arriving in the Tower, ready for another season of the Games.

Interact with other characters in the Remake Centre while being prepared for the Tribute Parade.

Interact with other characters in the holding area before the Tribute Parade begins.

This introductory period begins now, and will continue until May 28th, at which time training will begin!
