John double checks his belongings and grabs the keys.

“Protect him Dean, the alternative is going to be much worse.”

Dean knows John’s earlier non answer means he needs to stop asking questions.

So he does.

He locks the door behind his dad and crawls back to Sam under the covers. There’s no way he’ll let anything happen to his baby brother. But now he’s worried.
