during a video you accidentally expose something, but luckily you have 6 saviors
࿔ fluff; comfort, mention of healed sh scars, mention of past panic attacks
The summer heat was brutal.
Even before filming had started, everyone was already complaining.
"I’m telling you right now." Keeho announced dramatically, stretching his arms above his head. "If I pass out, it’s because this company hates me."
"They’re making us run." Theo deadpanned.
"Exactly."
"You run during concerts."
"That’s different."
The staff ignored them completely.
Today’s video was simple enough. A series of athletic challenges to determine who the most athletic member of P1Harmony was.
According to Intak, the answer was obviously him. According to everyone else, Intak was delusional.
"Get ready!"
The members lined up at the starting line of the track.
You adjusted your shorts absentmindedly. They were comfortable, lightweight, and probably the only reason you hadn’t melted into a puddle yet.
The whistle blew.
Everyone took off.
Almost immediately, Keeho started yelling.
"INTAK STOP PUSHING ME!"
"I DIDN’T TOUCH YOU!"
"YOU LOOKED AGGRESSIVE! "
The staff laughed while the members collapsed across the finish line one by one.
The entire day continued like that.
Relay races. Jumping contests. Obstacle courses.
Challenges designed solely to embarrass them.
By the time the final event arrived, everyone was exhausted.
"Last one." A staff member announced.
Cheers erupted.
"Thank God."
The final challenge involved climbing over a series of padded barriers before sprinting to the finish.
Simple. Unfortunately, simple didn’t mean graceful.
You got over the first obstacle easily. The second one was a little higher.
Planting one foot on the side, you swung your leg over and dropped down.
For a second, your shorts rode higher than usual.
Then they settled again.
You didn’t notice. Filming continued.
Nothing seemed wrong. Until several minutes later.
Everyone was gathered around a monitor reviewing some footage while staff prepared the next shot.
You happened to glance up at the screen.
The obstacle replay flashed briefly.
One frame. Maybe two.
Your stomach dropped.
You knew that angle.
Knew exactly what had been visible.
Your pulse immediately spiked. Without thinking, you looked away.
Too fast.
Too suddenly.
And unfortunately, six people knew you well enough to notice.
Jiung saw it first.
The slight tension in your shoulders. The way your smile disappeared. The way your hand automatically moved toward the hem of your shorts. His expression changed immediately.
Not alarm.
Recognition.
Understanding.
A second later, his eyes flickered toward the monitor. Then back to you and he knew.
Keeho noticed Jiung noticing. Then Theo noticed. Then Jongseob. Soul. Intak.
Like dominoes.
No words needed. Just years of knowing each other. Years of learning every tiny expression.
You swallowed hard.
"Did…" Your voice came out quieter than intended.
"Did the camera get that?"
The conversation around you stopped. Nobody asked what you meant. Nobody needed to.
Jiung immediately stepped closer. "I don’t know."
His voice was calm. Gentle.
"We’ll check."
You hated how embarrassed you suddenly felt.
The scars weren’t new. The members had known for years. They had been there during some of the hardest moments of your life.
There were no secrets left between you.
But that didn’t mean you wanted cameras catching them. Or editors. Or anyone else.
Keeho looked toward the staff.
"Can we check that obstacle footage?"
The request was casual enough that nobody questioned it.
A few minutes later, one of the staff members replayed the clip. The members crowded around and you stayed where you were, unable to make yourself look.
The video played. Silence.
"Oh." Theo’s voice called out.
A pause. Another pause. Your stomach twisted.
"Okay." That was Jongseob.
Then Jiung looked back at you. "It’s visible."
The words weren’t harsh. Just honest and your chest tightened.
Immediately, Keeho spoke. "Only for like a second."
"And it’s easy to cut." Jongseob added.
The staff member nodded.
"We’ll remove it."
Just like that.
No questions. No weird looks. No awkwardness.
Just simpley "We’ll remove it." Problem solved.
You nodded. "Okay."
But the anxiety didn’t disappear.
Not completely.
Because your brain was already moving faster than logic.
What if someone else saw before it got edited?
What if-
"Hey." You looked up. Theo was standing beside you.
"When’s the last time worrying about something before it happened actually helped?"
You stared at him. "…Never."
"Exactly."
Later that night, everyone ended up in the dorm living room.
The day’s filming was finished. Dinner had been eaten.
Most of the members were scattered around the couch watching something nobody was actually paying attention to.
You sat curled into one corner.
Quiet. Too quiet.
Because eventually Jiung muted the television.
And six pairs of eyes landed on you. Immediately, you groaned.
"No."
"Yes. Keeho replied.
"I’m fine."
"Sure."
"I’m serious."
Nobody looked convinced.
You sighed.
The room stayed silent. Patient. Waiting.
Eventually, the words slipped out.
"I just…" You looked down. "I hate that people might’ve seen."
Nobody interrupted.
"I know it’s stupid."
"It’s not stupid." Jiung said immediately.
You picked at a loose thread on your sleeve.
"I know you guys know."
Your voice grew smaller.
"And I’m okay with that."
Because they did know. They had known for years. Had sat with you through panic attacks. Through tears. Through recovery. Through every ugly part of healing.
Nothing about it scared them anymore. But strangers were different.
The thought alone made your chest ache.
For a moment, nobody spoke.
Then Soul quietly shifted closer. His shoulder bumped yours.
A small gesture. But comforting.
Then Intak leaned against your other side.
Then Theo.
Then somehow everyone was crowding around you.
"Guys."
No response.
"Guys."
Still nothing.
"You are literally crushing me."
"Good." Keeho said.
You laughed despite yourself. The sound made several members smile.
Jiung reached over and squeezed your hand.
The room fell quiet.
"You know that the scars don’t change who you are."
Theo nodded. "Never have."
"Never will." Jongseob agreed.
Your throat tightened, because they sounded so certain.
Like there wasn’t even a question. Like this wasn’t something that needed debating.
To them, it was obvious. You were still you. Nothing else mattered.
A hand landed on your head.
Keeho.
Naturally.
"You know what’s actually embarrassing?"
You immediately narrowed your eyes.
"Oh no."
"The footage of me tripping over absolutely nothing."
Laughter erupted around the room.
"THAT’S staying in the video."
"You literally fell over air."
"You almost took Soul out with you."
Soul nodded seriously. "I almost died.
"You were standing still."
"I am emotionally traumatized."
The conversation dissolved into chaos.
Arguments. Laughter. Accusations.
Exactly the way it always did.
And somewhere between all the noise, the worry in your chest finally started to loosen.
Because maybe the members were right.
The footage would be edited. The moment would pass.
And no matter what happened, you wouldn’t be facing it alone.
