I drove by your house the other day

I wish I could say I had the courage

To park for a second or two

And then leave

The way I used to

When we first stopped talking

I got up to the yield sign

And went the other way

I caught a glimpse though

I remembered

our old short-lived life

I remember it cold

Brown leaves cracking beneath our feet

The taste of ice cream and waffles for breakfast

Cases of water bottles stacked in the hall

Holy oil and prayer before bed

But when I looked at your house

And for second I could not remember

For a second..

Which house was it?

The first or the second?

Third?

I passed by because of happenstance

But I took a closer look to feel..

Closer to you

But I’ve never felt so far away

When you want to make a sideblog but you don’t do much, let alone something that I could dedicate an entire blog to.

I really should go to bed soon, it is almost midnight and I would rather not end up sleeping until like an hour before my orientation.

I came up with a kinda cool idea but I’m not sure I want to share it until I get a bit closer to being able to try to do it. Hopefully, it won’t be too long until I can post about it.

Due to me changing my queue, most queued posts will, luckily, last much longer. I don’t really have anyone that constantly sees my posts (from what I can tell) but at least now I can make more consistent posts since my queue posts will last longer now. My queue is now only posting every hour between 5am and 10pm.

Casually going to change my queue so it posts during more realistic times... Things may start being posted a bit later than they happened, but that is okay. At least it will make it so that there is a bit more of a point for me to add the date in the tags.
