Might not have power for up to a week 🙃 Yinzers though taking it in stride
Hurricane Sandy
So for those of you who don't know, I'm stuck in the middle of hurricane Sandy. For anyone and everyone who is stuck out in this weather, please make sure that you are safe. You need flash lights, and batteries. Water bottles, and canned foods, things that are nonperishable so that if the electricity goes out you don't have to worry about not being fed. Make sure to have warm clothes in case the heat goes out. Have something like a book, to keep yourself entertained. Filled the bathtubs with water so that if the plumbing stops as well you can still fill the toilets. Make sure your cars are not anywhere near trees in case they fall down. Keep a careful eye on pets. If you have one, keep an eye on the landline so that when the electricity goes out you can still call for help if you need it. Remember if you're in an area that is told from mandatory evacuation you need to leave. Things can be replaced, you cannot. Keep yourself safe in this horrible weather.
