There were just a crazy amount of barbies at the thrift store today. I wish i were more of a barbie fan bc i feel like these would be beloved by one. The first one pictured had super long hair too. More to come

I know I’ve said before that I wasn’t really into collecting 1980s Barbies. However, I found this from Goodwill…
And figured I might as well collect them all at once (some of these are actually late 70s, and some of these are even dolls I had I my own childhood Barbie case). The light isn’t great in my doll room today so I did have to adjust these a bit but the IRL colors are just as vibrant as new:
Most of them do have some or all of their jewelry, but nary a shoe is to be found.
New Barbie Movie Promo dropped, and this movie really is has something for everyone and I LOVE IT. My favorite moment being "Playing with me?" then cutting to this:
Also love how it's a bunch of 80s and 90s barbies here too. This movie is gonna be so much fun.

*Finally* got these ladies together! I bought them last year (I think? it’s been a while). I really love the faceups of these two, simple yet elegant:)I also like how their outfits have the same color scheme and are. like their makep, simple yet elegant. Gal on the left is “Oriental Barbie” (Mattel’s name for her, not mine!). I love the soft brown color of her hair but for some reason it’s so DRY, It still kept its lovely curled ends even after all the conditioning I did though:) One on the right is the first of the Japanese dolls. Poor thing’s arms were yellowed and bleached out at the same time; it took me til last month to find her a donor body. Her hair elastic had disintegrated and I found I couldn’t get her back into its original style so finally just put it back in a simple bun and called it good.
So Remember how Over the Weekend I went to that one thrift store that had an INSANE AMOUNT of new in box barbie stuff? Well I went back today (have more $ coming in soon anyways) and Well... I came back with all this.
On top of that Next Week March 9th-12th they're having a barbie event for her birthday so i'll probably be going back then too!
