This time during The Dark Season we shed some light on Rohelle
Who is Rohelle?
She is an Latina Alt Punk Artist from New Jersey. RSome would say Rohelle is off her rocker but to her it's just another nor=The world of yesteryear lives as She makes classic 80s Synthpop, New Wave, music alongside her group Helldron Sqaud. Also she has her Jack Swing feel from 90's album (My World) making waves.
More of Rohelle can be found here on here playlist on The Undead World
Here is her single (My Life Is Like a Horror Movies) just in time for Halloween

Chorus Girl 1998 New Wave / Synthpop / Pop-Rock / Power Pop / Hi-NRG
Folks, I think that this is quite possibly the greatest late 70s and 80s new wave and synthpop comp I’ve ever heard, and it’s not even an official release; it’s actually a bootleg from Manila.
In total, there were nine volumes in the Philippines’ Chorus Girl series, a project that was launched after the quality of a popular new wave radio show seemed to be on the wane. And its initial installment does an excellent job of mixing the absolute hits, like DEVO’s “Whip It,” Naked Eyes’ “Always Something There to Remind Me,” and The Go-Go’s’ “We Got the Beat,” with fantastic songs I’d never heard before, like Men Without Hats’ “I Got the Message,” The Flirts’ “Jukebox (Don’t Put Another Dime)” and a different mix of Modern English’s “I Melt With You,” where everything sounds like it's in a higher key than the original version.
Really thought I knew my 80s new wave and synthpop hits, and then I came across this absolute gem 😀.
Highlights:
KC and the Sunshine Band - “Give It Up” Naked Eyes - “Always Something There to Remind Me” JoBoxers - “Just Got Lucky” The Go-Go’s - “Head Over Heels” The Knack - “My Sharona” DEVO - “Whip It” The Go-Go’s - “We Got the Beat” Men Without Hats - “I Got the Message” The Cars - “Shake It Up” Toni Basil - “Mickey” The Flirts - “Jukebox (Don’t Put Another Dime)” Nena - “99 Luftballons” Modern English - “I Melt With You (Rock the Radio remix)” General Public - “Tenderness” The Psychedelic Furs - “Ghost in You”
