#81 years

Today is D-Day +81 years. For some people, that’s a lifetime come and gone. For others, it’s a moment in history that we read about in books, and watch in films. For all of us, it’s a day that we stop and remember the ultimate sacrifices made by the men and women of our armed forces as they fought for freedom. It’s our job now, to keep their memories and their names, alive. To remind the world what they fought for, and that they did not die in vain.

Lest we forget.

Kraft Dinner has been around since 1937.

I was coming home from work late and my children were at home hungry.  The three older ones know how to cook a few items so they can survive if I am not around, but that night no one wanted any of those things.  So I am driving down the 400 talking my 9 year old daughter through the step by step process of how to make and serve Kraft Dinner.  She did a brilliant job; no one was burned; and her siblings were fed. It is no wonder Kraft Dinner has survived 81 years.  No one disputes that it is not the healthiest food, but it remains a meal that is inexpensive, easy to store, fairly simple to prepare, tasty, and good at satisfying your hunger.  Thank you Thomas H.
