Chaos among the land. Frantic talking. Worried faces. Hurried walking.
The curse was finally hitting the realm, a curse Emma knew was suppose to hit 18 years ago, but yet it hadn't; why had it waited until now? The blonde was being ushered to her room, where the wooden wardrobe was waiting for her, where it had always been waiting for her. The woman swallowed as she was guided into the wardrobe. She gazed up with worried and sad eyes; she was told that this wardrobe would protect her from the Queen's curse, but she didn't want to be the only one protected. She was about to protest, but she was already being placed into the wardrobe, the door being closed in front of her eyes.
"Wait!" she screamed, banging on the wooden doors, but it was too late. Her scream echoed and before she knew it she was sitting in a tree.
Where am I?
She gazed around curiously, her chest rising and falling, her breath escaping through her parted lips with slight panic.
The princess had been protected over the years, in her family's hope that the queen would not learn about her existence or her whereabouts. The girl was told as little as possible to keep the secret safe. Emma had often secretly longed for adventure, hoped to leave the castle one day, maybe to fall in love; but she hadn't expected it to be anything like this.
