today my best friend that lives 1,886 miles away from me, texted me and asked if i would go see the maine with her on their next tour. less than four hours later, i had the plane tickets bought and if that doesn't scream best friend then i don't know what else would.

Love isn’t doing what makes you feel good all the time. That‘s just being self-seeking, and there’s absolutely nothing impressive about it. Love is often just the opposite. You do things you don’t feel like doing because you’re willing to have humility and put someone else first.
