jane is a very sensory person all around, using particularly her hearing and sight as primary ways to interact with the world. though she is very tactile, her hands having a habit to reach out and touch nearly everything new to her. her sight is probably the pique of her information gathering, watching people's body languages, their expressions and general demeanor does wonders for her to figure out what exactly is happening sans understanding context in certain conversations. but also, given jane's hyper-sensory abilities, she also relies on her intuition, as a sort of sixth sense.
