Wolfman: I'm always happy for Maverick Storytime.

Maverick: It's about a little boy named Pinocchio. He was a little wooden puppet, who came to life cuz he was possessed by a demon. And he would go out, and he would lie to everyone, cuz of the Devil. And then these older villagers, they put him on a bonfire and they burnt his soul to ash. And that's how you learn - you never trust a puppet!

Iceman:........You fuckin' idiot.

Slider: Do another one! Another one!

Hollywood: I wanna hear Mav's version of the Bible!

Maverick: IN THE BEGINNING -

Iceman: - NO!

(At some fancy Navy /Dignitary dinner that Ice is a VIP Guest at (and is speaking)

Speaker:...I'd like to welcome to the podium now, a very special guest, 4-Star Admiral and Commander of the Pacific Fleet - Admiral Tom "Iceman" Kazansky.

(Everyone in the room applauds as Ice steps over to the podium)

Iceman(sighs):...Thank you for your introduction Senator. I'd also like to thank my husband, Captain Pete Mitchell, and the rest of our original TOPGUN class from 1986 for being here tonight...

Maverick: Uh, pinatas?

Wolfman: Glow sticks.

Merlin: Karate boards.

Hollywood: Spaghetti when you have a small pot.

Wolfman(points over Mav's shoulder at the computer screen): What's that?

Maverick: Oh, it's the website for the Guggenheim museum. See, Ice likes art...and I like funny words.

Wolfman: What does he mean by HH?

Maverick:...It means we're holding hands.

Wolfman(amused): Are you the cutest?

Maverick: I'm afraid I might just be.

Iceman: Why does everything bad happen to me?! Goose: It's happening to us, too, Ice! Iceman: Well, not really 'cause you're not blonde. Maverick(snorts): Neither are you. Iceman: YOU SHUT UP RIGHT NOW!

Slider(making a speech at the '86 TOPGUN Grad ceremony): ...Through good times and bad, Top Gun formed us, brought us hope, honed our insight, gave us encouragement. Though my time here was not the only chapter in my life, I still consider Top Gun the most rewarding experience of my young life. Now it had always been my plan in closing to recite a short poem I'd written -

Maverick(under his breath): - But you reconsidered...

Wolfman(also under his breath): Come on, Slider. Go out a winner...

Slider: But as I read it aloud, I realized the sentiments I wanted to share with my fellow students were better expressed in a favorite song of mine -

Iceman(exasperated sigh): Oh, Slider...
