Samsung's new 870 QVO line features the 1st 8 TB SSD for consumers The QVO 870 line starts with the 1TB model for $ 129.99 , going through 2TB ($ 249), 4TB ($499) and 8TB. In case you really need fast access to a large amount of data, the 8TB model will be available in August. It is the first time that Samsung launches a solid-state drive for residential consumers with the capacity of 8TB. According to Tom's Hardware website, this 8TB storage unit is expected to cost $ 900 and will be launched on August 24th. The 870 QVO line is the successor to the 860 QVO, which was launched at the end of 2018.
