After 3 years, Makcik Yoke Har of 88 Spices marked her last Sunday at the Clevedon Farmers Market. She’s moving on to bottle her Malaysian sauces. Uncle paid 88 Spices a farewell visit, and reminisced with Makcik and other stallholders about those heady days when she first started and Uncle was available to help. So her curry puffs, kuih and weekly specials of Malaysian classics will be missed. Uncle said hello to neighbouring stalls Akemi Gyoza, Koh Koz, the fruit & vege stall and Curious Croppers. Nu Nu’s Street Munch made its debut at Clevedon Farmers Markets. The irrepressible Nuwan Silva presented his first offering to very receptive punters, Sri Lankan Chicken Kottu Roti. He sold out.
