Don looks up again as he was broken from his thoughts. "Yes, I was thinking about my brother." He offers a soft smile though he's overcome with a feeling of despair. "Perhaps it's time I pay him a visit. I haven't been since we laid him to rest." Just a the thought Don felt heavy and dark, enough that he moved into the study and took a seat.

“I see..” René says softly as he watches the young vampire slump towards him and into the spare chair opposite him. Gently he sets his pen down, threading his fingers together as he rests his elbows on the desk, watching his child and waiting for him to continue, as he seems to wish to talk .

"Thank you, Sire." Don smiled proudly at the knowledge of the support he would be given. "I will not disappoint you. As for Llry, I'll be sure to treat him well." He feels a tinge of pain in his heart as he thinks of his own baby brother, and he silently vows to protect Llry in a way that he couldn't with Ben. The thoughts of sadness caused his thoughts to roam as he fell silent in the doorway where he stood.

Nodding, René accepts the males words and returns to scribbling away at the paper on his desk. After a moment he realises that Don had not moved away, and glances up at him again. “Something troubles you” he states with a soft frown.

He turned abruptly and pointed at her, making a silly face when he realized it was her. “I kept feeling like there was someone there, I just didn’t know who. You should know you can’t sneak up on me, Hyo… I’m too good.” He turned again and resumed his pace. “Why are you following me? I’m not going anywhere interesting.”

“If you’re too good, then you should have known it was me.” Hyorin grinned and stuck her tongue out at him, letting out an amused chuckle. “Well, it was interesting to follow you until I decided to call your name for your attention. Plus, I wasn’t following you to see where you were going.” A smug smile graces her lips before she looks at him with curiosity in her eyes. “Where are you going anyway?”

"Tell me, would you let me bite you? Like feed from you?" Don tilted his head, seeming to have appeared out of thin air in the night.

(/jolts, fists closing and ready for a fight as he turns, until he sees who it is who’s speaking to him and relaxes) Jesus, Donny, warn a guy. And yeah, of course. (/his head tilts, and as he steps forward he’s already sweeping his hair up into a loose bun to make room for you) You okay? You aren’t starving yourself, right?

"I studied on my own," he admitted as he stood to welcome his master to him, "with audio books and such. I thought maybe I could learn a new language, and surprise you at the same time." There was no hiding how happy he was with himself and the fact that he did indeed receive the attention he was look for. "How bad is my pronunciation?"

Letting out a rare, but true laugh, the corners of his eyes crinkle as his grin widens, reaching out to cup around Don’s neck as he looks back at him, “absolutely awful!” He laughs again before nodding, encouragingly, “more, show me what else you have learnt..”

Don has moved to become more of his protégé and child then lover, but ofc there are still those steamy romantic feelings! This actually means that Don is closer and more important to him then ever. Don is his everything, he would do absolutely anything to protect him and serve him right.

Everyone else he knows has an agenda or an ego but Don is pure and always speaks his mind - even if his mind isn’t as brilliant as he’s used to, René could listen to him talk all night. Don didn't stop back by the office after he changed and went straight down to his car, his beautiful toy, and got right to work. Essentially he was checking all his fluids, breaks, power steering, traction control... Just keeping up with the maintenance. The more he tinkered with it the dirtier he got, and he was thankful he changed shirts before hand. "I may toss these clothes before I go back in," he mumbled to himself, "Rene will not appreciate me coming in dirty... Again."

“René will not appreciate what?” The vampire hums as he appears behind the male, fingers slowly coiling to thread together as he looks down at the muck covered boy under the hood of his car. Slowly his eyes trail over him, brawn from hard manual labour has always been something he... enjoys. A man dirtied from his labour comes along with that.
