jaejoong + possessiveness: honest to god a fav thing to think about. jaejoong very much picks and chooses his people for keeps. he’s going to learn them inside and out and make sure he always knows what they’re up to. he’s obsessive, overwhelming, and shamelessly manipulative when it comes to keeping his people closest to him. and I think some people can handle that sort of attention (ie ~jyj~) but others can’t. and for the people who can’t - people who can’t push against jaejoong and his presence and that... mania that he has - then jaejoong will treat them as objects, for him to toss around and play with and experiment, see how they work and react. and jaejoong’s not concerned with whether he breaks his toys or not.
I think... fundamentally, jaejoong is a dysfunctional person, and so his relationships are dysfunctional as well. but the fact that he has two specific names on his fucking skin means something - the fact that those two people can keep up with him, can understand his behaviour, can enforce boundaries even against jaejoong’s will. so I mean - clearly his possessiveness can be curtailed, but... only very few people can do that.
