The 8th Habits
The "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" is a book written by Stephen Covey that outlines seven habits that can help people become more effective in their personal and professional lives. However, there is also a book called "The 8th Habit" by Covey that builds on the original seven habits and adds an eighth habit. The eight habits are:
Be proactive: Take responsibility for your own life and make things happen.
Begin with the end in mind: Have a clear understanding of what you want to achieve and plan accordingly.
Put first things first: Prioritize the most important things and focus on them first.
Think win-win: Seek mutual benefit in all interactions.
Seek first to understand, then to be understood: Listen to others before trying to make yourself understood.
Synergize: Work together to achieve more than you could on your own.
Sharpen the saw: Take care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally to maintain effectiveness.
Find your voice and inspire others to find theirs: Discover your unique talents and passions and use them to make a positive impact on the world around you.
