ok, a non fandom post interruption to your scheduled viewing - I'm just so happy with these photos of my gorgeous old girl (been together 40 years this year) and I wanted to share them. The 900 is mine. the 9-3 belongs to my friend Simon, but the registration used to be on my 9-5, so it's nice to see it next to my 900 again for the first time in years, as I've had it on retention for ages before I sold the plate to him. Now it works on 2 levels: S1 Saab, or "Si's Saab"

New WIP, doing my girl this time. Just discovered procreate tells you how long you’ve been working on a piece, and the line work on this took 1 and a half hours. Next step will be colour blocking, then airbrushing shading/highlights, chrome, lights, wheels (which are a geometric nightmare on this!). Step 3: she’s got her stripes back! But OMG those 1980s inca alloy wheels are a nightmare. Just lightly lined them in and have yet to do all the shading. Step 2: colour blocking, just done base colours which will get built up with different tones of lights and darks with airbrushing next. I still haven’t tackled the inca alloys yet.
