On Friday, March 29th, the Daily Tribune ran an article about one burglary suspect being arrested. The article also indicated that Burglary of a Habitation warrants for Eric Fuller Jr. and LaStarya Newton were issued after Titus County Sheriff’s Office Investigators linked them to a burglary which had occurred in Titus County. On April 2, 2013, an anonymous tipster called the Northeast Texas Area Crime Stoppers and reported that Mr. Fuller and Ms. Newton were located in a vehicle parked in front of a residence on Patrick Street.
A quick response by Mount Pleasant Police Department resulted in the arrest of Eric Dexter Fuller Jr. for the Titus County SO warrant for Burglary of Habitation and the arrest of LaStarya Nicole Newton for the Titus County SO warrant for Burglary of Habitation, a Red River County SO warrant for Burglary of Habitation and a City of Mt. Pleasant Municipal warrant.
