Susan Lindauer worked for the CIA as the Iraqi asset... as 911 was happening!!
The biggest politcal consequence of 911 was the introduction of the ironically named "Patriot Act"... changing the law and giving US authorities the ability to hold... you... without trial... indefintiely!!
