& if you were to ask me about why i’m overly obsessed and grateful for Mac Miller. I’d start with my boyfriend. My boyfriend introduced me to a world of music that I didn’t know existed. He tried for so long and I denied it each time. Who knew it would have took a song about someones love not being kind to you to make me realize the answers were in the music. The music that pierced my skull like daggers would pierce an already dead heart. Mac Miller saved my life. Cause little did anybody ever know I was so close to just letting go. Soooooo close. I’ll forever give thanks to God for allowing me to discover his music and be enchanted by a hold on message. I spent so much time swimming I didn’t realize I needed to just drown. I wouldn’t have reached that message without Solange and Mac. Foreverrrr 92tilinfinity! Forever a Macaholic! Forever a Solange Warrior.

Music is such a loud expression of self. Everyone uses it in a way to explain, express, smother, smush, or even evolve themselves. Mac Miller is the only artist who seemed to peak inside my brain. Especially his constant battles of disassociation. Balloonerism’s entire background music minus the lyrics is quite literally what my brain sounds like. Each key on the piano, each strum of the guitar, each self made noise he decided to add in. It all just resonates with me so well. Stoned is more accurate of who I am and what I feel. It’s cliche cause everyone wants to feel that way but when its time no one feels that way.
