“These?” It is a stupid question, to be frank. Considering the fact that the elder was using both of his hands to hold only a single box, she simply couldn’t have been asking for something else. “Oh, right–” A soft chuckle passes his lips as he rolls his eyes at his own self, letting go of the box with one of his hands to take out one of the hidden products. “They are our light sticks! Will you be supporting us too, Suji-yah?” he asks, holding it out towards the female, a wide smile plastered across his face. “We’ll be having our comeback in no less than two days!”

Being shown the light sticks, Suzy’s mouth forms as perfect of a circle as best she can. Brushing her hair back as he hands over the sticks for her to retrieve, she’s clicking the tiny button on the side, causing the lights to flash in front of her. “Oooh, are these official ones?! They look so neat! I like that groups nowadays have such unique sticks. It’s really fun to see.” Glancing up with the light stick still in her hold, she points into the box with her eyes fixated up at him. “So are you giving these out to fans? I heard about the comeback though. I try and keep up to date with the new songs, but it gets really difficult with these newer groups. My head can only keep up so much! Can I keep this by chance?” Gestures to the light stick, waving it around with a hopeful glint in her eyes.

“The thing about Lee Hongbin is that there are too many things to talk about, and I don’t know where to start this because... it’s Hongbin. Lee Hongbin of VIXX. Or, as I like to call him, Hongbong. That guy makes fun of me quite a lot lately--which is funny because he used to think that I’m a cool leader. But we seem to be on a different side since I befriend Hakyeon-hyung. Oh, he bullied Hakyeon too... this kid, really. I think he have a thing with bullying leaders because--mmm, I don’t know, is it some kind of tradition? I heard that Infinite likes to bully their leader too. Oh, and--where were we? Ah, there was this one time when he exposed everything about his leader to me. Things about how violent he is and... well, you know. I think of that as a playful remarks, though; perhaps that’s how Hongbin shows his love to his leader--by dragging him and... bullying him. He probably won’t admit it, but I’m telling you, I have my own senses regarding things like these.” 

“Even though so, I think that he has quite an unique character. What’s the word for it again--ah!  Right, I think he’s the tsundere-kind. That’s what they call it in Japan. I learned the word from some people when I worked there on several occasion. Because, you know, he’s the type who wouldn’t show his love through affectionate words or actions but through his hostile or coldness. I believe he’s a good man all along too, I mean--he listens to Park Hyoshin after all. That means he have a keen taste in music. Sometimes I like to tease the man by siding along with Hakyeon-hyung, but trust me, I actually adore him.”

In all honesty, it was a question that had often been on Hongbin’s mind as well, especially during VIXX’ early days, when everything was still very new and when most people had yet to learn their names. Even up until date, people would still mix up the names and positions of the members, and although it was only human to make mistakes, he had to agree that these types of mistakes were definitely not very professional, and neither were they respectful.

Yet there were certain unspoken rules as to what an idol was allowed to say and what they weren’t allowed to say—and in this case, it was better to swallow your pride and to vent it out in private. After all, he definitely understood how upsetting it could be when your name was constantly getting mixed up. ‘It most certainly is,’ Hongbin finally spoke, a soft smile gracing his lips when he turned to face the rookie, keeping his voice low enough in order to exclude any possible passersby. ‘I mean, you’d think it’s common courtesy to learn the names of the people on your show, isn’t it? But it happens, quite frequently actually.. Don’t worry about it too much, even after years, they still mix up our members as well.’

"Does it still happen to you?" She asked out of curiosity. She was just a rookie, yes, but she thought it would be nice for the hosts of the show they had just got out to know her name and of her members. "I mean... One time is okay. But they called me Mimi so many times." She sighed, pouting slightly. "I had to be correcting them with a smile even though I was pretty mad." She murmured, watching one of the hosts passing by them. She gave them a small smile and bowed her head. After all, even if they were always messing up her name earlier, she had to be respectful. "I hope next time they know my name."

Not so secret fangirl

Chaerin was very happy at the moment, not only was she finally back in her home country after spending weeks in the States working on her album, but she made it back just in time to attend VIXX’s Comeback Showcase for their new album Chained up. The Baddest Female had been a dedicated Starlight for quite sometime, the 6 member boy group catching her eye immediately with their unique concepts and charms. She tried to make it to all of their showcases and succeeded for the most part, even showing up to the VIXX-LR showcase as well. She knew for a fact that the members of the group didn’t notice her or they might have approached her at some point. She vaguely remembered 2NE1 promoting at the same time as VIXX a year or so ago.

The showcase left the more experienced idol in awe, she had high hopes for their comeback but the boys exceeded every expectation she had set. She made sure to leave the venue before the showcase was actually over, so that none of the other Starlights would notice her. She didn’t want to take the spotlight away from the boys who deserved it. She left the venue and quickly found an alley to wait in until her manager found the time to come retrieve her, not that she minded much. She enjoyed solitude whenever she could come across it, but what she didn’t know was that they alley she decided to take refuge in was the same one that the Vixx boys would be exiting through to avoid such a large crowd of their fans.
