I know what it says, but what’s been happening tells a different story. People’s posts have been getting flagged despite no rules having been broken. I made a post that had no curse words and a gif of a girl gasping... it was flagged.

@saxxology‘s previous account was deleted because of minors interacting with her (despite how thorough she is with blocking minors, and the fct her blog is very clearly 18+ only). Other people’s accounts have been deleted because Tumblr wrongly (they admitted they were wrong and everything) accused them of being nsfw.

Now while I’m sure I’ll be okay, I’m not just concerned for myself. I’m concerned for friends’ accounts, for innocent posts, for the over all mental health of people I know on Tumblr. This ban is going to cause an uproar of rage and confusion, and it is not going to result in the ending @staff and @support assume will occur.

Tumblr, as far as I’m aware, was originally a safe place for adults (consenting and mature adults) to come and be who they wanted to be. This ban is jeopardising that. I don’t have anywhere else to go where I can post everything I post so freely and not be judged.

I know your ask didn’t warrant this rant, and I am by no means snapping at you, I’m just passionate about the crap that’s about to occur. It’s already Monday the 17th here... I’m now waiting for the clock to roll over in the US, and for shit to inevitably hit the fan.

I'm so sorry for your lost, sweetheart. I lost my grandpa when I was 4. I remember when he passed, we(my mom and I)missed him by 15 mins. I; for some reason saw a little light fly by our car; said "There goes Papi!"(That's what I called him). He loved Cardinals, so when I see them I think he checking up on me. On his 15yrs of passing, my grandma planted his favourite flower, she got 15 blooms. Over time, the pain will lessen, but it will never fade. 1/2
