As is usually the case whenever a generation of the beloved Porsche 911 rolls around, there was no shortage of disgruntled purists. While I certainly wouldn’t consider myself to be a Porsche purist by any means, I definitely wasn’t thrilled with the redesign when pictures of test-mules were floating around. Those feelings didn’t last long though; the press photos that started trickling though made a very strong case for this new chassis (if you haven’t seen this car from a birds eye view, you’re missing out). I’m happy to say that after seeing it in the flesh my feelings haven’t changed.
