How trustworthy and safe are the contacts on 9mmsfx?
I am super impressed with my sclera contact. I can't see super well (didn't really expect to tho) but it is so comfy. I didn't expect that. I couldn't even feal that I was wearing it after the first 3 minutes. And even tho I had trouble getting it out, with others my eye burns and stuff but with this my eye felt the same. Wow you guys got a lifelong customer. Too bad the website doesn't have a feedback :(
Help?
Anybody order from 9mmsfx? I wanna know how long the sclera lenses will last? Like when is it time to toss them? Also, anybody know of another good place to order custom sclera lenses for cheaper? Thanks!
Review: 9mmSFX Nightstalker contacts
Store Link: Nightstalker
Price: $200 (This is for two contact lenses.)
Rating: 3 stars
So I purchased these last year for my Left4Dead 1 hunter costume. These contacts are based off the movie "30 Days of Nights." This review is on the 15" diameter sizing of the contacts. (There is also a 16" diameter.)
The contacts arrived in separate, sealed, plastic contact containers in a bubble-wrap package.
The contacts themselves are a pretty good quality. It gets really hot in my house, so the contact solution dries up sometimes. After putting the contacts back in some solution they are back to normal and are just as soft as they were when I purchased them.
The design on them is not so accurate to the example picture they have on their website. The black "pupil" is true, but the red coloring around the edges is too sharp; not like the soft, faded look on the example picture. I deducted a star for that.
Overall I would not pay $200 for the contacts I received. A better price would be about $100-$150. This is just based off the fact their Hellraiser contacts are $75 each. I deducted a star for the price as well.
