Hmmm okay I will say these are interesting thoughts and not totally irrelevant, however I'm not so sure I can jump on board with it all tbh. It's mentioned that "the old elena is still in there" you see here's the thing: that's my whole problem, that it feels like that elena is gone and never coming back. Regardless I do still somewhat believe she's still in there, and when/if I see her again I will have A LOT more hope. Also notice that I say more hope, MEANING I still have the slightest bit of hope within that's is not going anywhere.
