Review of 9wishes's Rice Foaming Cleanser
9wishes is a Korean brand, which alludes to the Korean reference to perfection in Korean culture. They aim to improve skin condition with their different products. Their Rice Foaming Cleanser is designed with micro-ground rice powder infused with rice bran water. This gentle foaming cleanser visibly brightens and exfoliates for exceptionally soft skin. Key ingredients include: rice powder (gently exfoliating, rich in antioxidants, promotes collagen production, smooths skin), rice bran water (hydrating, soothes irritation, improves skin tone, nourishing), saccharomyces/rice bran ferment (provides deep hydration, improves skin texture, fights signs of aging, vitamin-rich, enhances skin barrier function), rice bran extract (nourishing, moisturizing, healing, soothing, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, antioxidant), lactobacillus/soybean ferment extract (soothing, anti-inflammatory, improves skin barrier function, ideal for sensitive skin), and sodium chondroitin sulfate (attracts and retains moisture, improves skin elasticity, protects skin). This product retails for between $14-19 USD. You can get it here for $14.72 + shipping. You can use my rewards code: DMR1986 to save some money on your order.

To quickly note, I received this for free from Picky and 9wishes in exchange for my honest review.
It contains 120 ml (4.05 oz) and it does contain fragrance.
The cleanser has a creamy/slightly gritty texture.
While you can feel grittiness, the powder is so fine you can't really see it.
It foams up pretty well, but it doesn't lather too much.
It rinses off well, fun fact, I think this would make a good alternative to the Tatcha Rice Wash cleanser.
Recommended use is to apply a small amount and lather it up on your skin with water, and then gently massage it into the skin and rinse off with warm water. After using, I have very dry and sometimes sensitive skin, so I try to only use exfoliating cleansers sparingly. I thought this one was pretty good. I didn’t notice any irritation, and my skin felt clean and smooth but not tight or anything afterward. I did notice the fragrance, but didn’t have any irritation from it. I’d recommend this to anyone, but if you have sensitive skin, patch test first.
What I like: This does a good job of clearing off dead skin cells without stripping the skin. It's very smoothing and didn't give me any issues, and I didn't have any irritation. It's really good to take care of the texture on the skin, and it has a good brightening effect. What I don't like: there's fragrance.
Pros:
Smoothing
Fairly Gentle
Removes dry skin
Non-drying
Non-irritating
Cons:
Fragrance
Would I buy this?
Probably
