Oof. Think I made myself sad about the fact that Roxy really takes a lot upon herself in terms of accountability to the point where she honestly sees her existence as a burden upon the world. The gods are not expected to bring more children into the world, and as a consequence for every demigod born, it throws the world off its axis and will only regain its footing if said demigods make a difference for better or for worse. Gods often leave their young to handle themselves, use them as pawns in their politics, or maybe even care for them (that is the ideal scenario honestly). Thus, Roxy literally would give up and surrender a lot of what she may have left to play as a huge piece in keeping the supernatural and mundane ecosystem alive and healthy. She’s not here to save the world, but rather, at least keep it intact so others can exist.
