After a whole rollercoaster of experiencing a lot of highs and lows last year and into this year, I think I managed to figure out how to best curate my space here. I made lots of friends, and lost a lot at the same time. I find that it's like a coin toss here because I'm happy that I am able to vibe with people I feel at home with and who inspire me. But the RPC is getting notoriously non-communicative and smaller, but perhaps staying small is the best, meaning I will keep a close few that I actually have a blast writing with. I genuinely love this hobby and writing this muse, so I'm far from getting into the mindset of quitting.

I might catch you guys on the other side with the new blog, for those who might not, again it's not personal. If you do find me (and it's not like I'm gonna make myself hard to find), you're still welcome to hang out and follow if you still enjoy having me around.

Roxy and I are continuing to move to greater creative heights, but this time I'm gonna do it right by generating my own good vibes. Keep your eyes out for me, I'm gonna be quiet for a while and take the time to re-establish myself before following people back!

I think it may be time for a blog move. If I’m doing that, I’m only gonna be following a very select number of people. I had Roxy here since 2013 and then moved blogs again in 2015 and then the second time in 2018 (current blog). I’m happy with the development of what this blog has become and the tons of creative growth that came with it. However, I just feel very out of tune with a lot of things and have only time and attention on the few mutuals who I have solid writing chemistry with.

So if/when I move blogs, if any of you find I’m not following back, it’s nothing personal. I just need to curate my space more and I know it’s gonna be a controversial decision on my end. So I’m letting everyone know if you still wanna keep in touch, I’m cool with people just following me if they simply enjoy my content. When I get back from my hiatus, think it will help me figure out exactly what I want here.

RP blogs =/= fanfiction blogs.

As a personal/non-rp account watching other people write, please be mindful of how you interact with RP blogs. People's posts, in character or not, are not meant to be reblogged on your own, personal blog, alongside other rp-related posts. By you reblogging promos, art, rp replies, etc etc from rp blogs that often explicitly state ‘do not reblog posts if you are a personal blog’ (personal blog means non-rp blog btw), you bring a lot of unwanted attention to our blogs and ruin our activity feed. Random people are now reblogging our stuff assuming it's not something explicitly for the RPC. We do function differently from your own, and we do not want our posts to gain ‘traction’ in the conventional way.

A lot of people who run rp blogs don’t mind you liking posts, but if you are not in the RPC, please keep your distance, don't reblog, and actually read people’s pages to understand individual boundaries. Thank you.

another mini-hiatus

Writing inspiration has been pretty low lately, so sorry about that... and I also have been preoccupied with a survival city building sim game. So far it's been quite the time saving my growing city from one crisis after another and I got to put some social theories to the test. As well as, seeing how things play out based on some ethical choices you are forced to make. In case people have no idea what I am talking about, it's F.rostpunk.

Taking Lightning (my oldest chinchilla) to the vet to help get a massive fur mat removed. I am now sitting there and contemplating over my younger self making plans for my future. Back then, had I not been able to get into the post secondary institution that I graduated with both my bachelors and masters from, I probably would have enrolled in a college to become a veterinary technician...
