Hestia comes from Northern England, and as a result, her childhood winters was spent wearing whatever you could to keep your feet warm. She grew up in leggins and knitted socks, often in boots too big to accommodate thick fabrics. They were any colour her uniform allowed - usually matched to hair ties.
Living in London where the weather is a more friendly (and having a serious workplace that frowns on hot-pink leg warmers with butterflies), Hestia’s socks and footwear tends to follow the rest of her style. Usually they’re monochrome and non-noticeable, tucked away into her shoes, but she does like socks that have an extra little something; tiny flower patterns or a thin line of lace at the top. And, even though she rarely wears them out, Hestia still has a small collection of fuzzy, warm socks a size too big to loaf around in at home.
