Nikolas and his coven have a slave trading business. They mostly work with Krovs and provide the slaves brought. Sometimes they do private trading with top clients, but it is mostly done for the castle and others like it.
While it seems like a brutal and unfair business there are rules Nikolas put in place to make sure there is no wrongful stealing or kidnapping of some.
The coven, though in the slave trading business, serves as eyes and ears for wars, out of control fledglings, or any uprising that could result in destruction of a species or the world.
The coven is a group of vampires meant as a makeshift family for those wishing to have a place. Not all members are required to participate in the business side of it.
The rules are as follows:
No one shall be taken from and torn apart from family such as children or a mate.
No one with a master, unless said master has been caught and proven to be abusing and using said lower species in a way that is causing sever damage which could result in death. Upon this situation the species will be taken, treated resold once recovered to a place or master who will take care of said slave.
Slaves will be divided into sections based upon their personalities determining whether they shall be trained or left as is. Those who are willing and obedient shall be placed or sold straight away.
All clients are subject to screening upon request of a slave and any current slaves will be checked making sure they are cared for by said master before allowing a slave to be sold.
Return of slaves are allowed however the client shall not receive the money back, but the option for a new slave. There is no limit on these returns, but it is not allowed to purchase a slave for sex and return them and keep this repeating pattern.
If a client is checked upon on and found to be treating purchased slave in a terrible manner the slave shall be taken back and the master black listed.
The coven does not and will not take and royals or slaves from those they have treaties with.
If any member of the coven breaks any of these rules or is found to be doing dirt business they will be subject to death as they have taken an oath upon entering the coven.
