Avery was quick to get into the undercroft when heat week hit. No way in hell he was allowing Roman to stay there or anyone to touch him. Especially not after the fight he had with Lucien. Who knew what that man would do. As soon as he entered he B-lined for the familiar. Without too much talk he took the boy by the hand and began heading for the exit. Once they were out of the area he looked back at the boy before pulling him close. “Are you okay? Did anyone try anything? Did anyone touch you?” He sounded panicked as he looked the boy over. The heat was strong and being around Roman didn’t help. But he had to push it down as he needed to make sure Roman was okay. “I’ve been so worried about you. We need to get back before anything happens.” Kissing the boy’s head he used his speed to get them back to the suite.

Only then did he let his guard down. “I want to make sure you’re okay and check in, but fuck all I can think about is you in the bed begging me to cum in you.” His hands were gripping at the fabric that prevent him from touching that warm skin. “Please Roman. Just get naked.”

Emerson had been finding books displaced around the castle. So he took it upon himself to rescue such books and put them back where they belonged. He had a container, which the guards gave him, full of books making his way to the library. As he rounded the corner he trip sending the container of books tumbling and a few hitting a man in the leg as he tumbled with them. “Fuck! I hope the books are okay.” He mumbled brushing himself off as he began collecting the books again. “My bad. I didn’t see whatever was on the floor.”

Having received the gift Nikolas had sent a letter to Roman inviting him for some wine. Since last time he grew fond f=of the man a little more. Of course the fact that the other was with his son in a way made Nikolas want to know him more. He wouldn’t invade as stated before, but it was his duty to protect his son still. When he heard the knock Nikolas opened the door. “Roman. Thank you for the gift. It was very kind of you.” Allowing the other in he shut the door and lead the man to the living area. He had left out a couple drink choices. “Please sit. While the bar is nice, this is much more relaxing. How have you been?”

Nikolas was at the bar waiting. Waiting for the councilman who had been seeing his son. It wasn’t hard to know, but it helped he always kept an eye on the boy. He knew Fitz would be displeased his father had been keeping eyes on him, but Nikolas didn’t want him being hurt. Seeing the fellow councilman Nikolas nodded and stood. “Roman. Thank you for coming.”

Avery smiled as he headed down to the undercroft. Wasting no time in finding his Roman. “I’ve missed you.” His arms made themselves at home around the boy’s waist, lips kissing that warm neck. The master had been away for too long, but it was Christmas so he needed his, technically husband, but that was another story. “I’ve come to get you for Christmas. To spend it together like we used to. I’ve already got some presents for you. And I have some cookies waiting to be decorated. You want to join me?” Not that it was a question needed to be asked, but Avery liked hearing Roman say yes to the things he offered.
